Yahoo messenger & firewalls

Bleh, Opera crashed, and I lost my latest entry.
Basically, while other chat programs I've tried wouldn't work, Yahoo! messenger works just fine through the firewall, so let me know if you use Yahoo! Messenger (with the official software or otherwise) and want to chat late at night.
That reminds me, I now work midnight to 9am, one hour later than I used to.

Now I wonder if that will display correctly... I guess not.
